Regional Sales Director Kontera Technologies, Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for growing major advertising client and agency relationships in New York and the East Region, with a focus on the following verticals: CPG and Retail. The desired candidate will be well established selling online media to brands in those verticals as well as the East Coast agency community. He/she must be experienced in strategic account and consultative selling, and be knowledgeable in online media and underlying technology. He/she must be comfortable selling to all levels within the Agency and client, and must have experience managing a team of Account Executives.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
Manage, mentor, and coach a team of seasoned Account Executives within the region; monitor team metrics; hire, train and review performance of individuals on the team
Grow Kontera?s presence and increase market penetration within the assigned verticals. Evangelize Kontera and communicate the value of semantic based in-text advertising
Leverage a continually expanding set of product capabilities
Communicate emerging market needs and requirements for product development
Drive Marketing and Sales support activities in strategic business verticals
Engage agency decision makers at all levels
Develop and execute strategic account plans
Plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients
Develop and close significant business opportunities including annual agreements
Maintain a consistent and balanced approach to building client side relationships
Accurately forecast revenue growth
Execute in a fast paced small team environment
7 to 10+ years experience in senior online media sales.
In-depth knowledge and contacts with top digital agencies and online advertisers, with a deep rolodex in CPG and Retail verticals.
Proven track record of strategic development of Fortune 500 client base. Sold and managed at least $5 million dollars in annual online advertising spend.
Experience managing a team of 3+ Account Executives and Senior Account Executives. Strong leadership and coaching skills
Strong understanding of online branding and performance campaign models, media industry trends, technologies and pricing models.
Strong knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis for branding and performance.
Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and in campaign buying and planning.
Superior Strategic and Solution Selling skills in all facets of the sales cycle and account management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
