Summary:
Seeking a self-driven, highly motivated, and aggressive sales professional that will build and grow our business
Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed sales quotas for licenses and services in the assigned territory while managing the sales cycle from start to finish.
Develop and oversee sales objectives for assigned territory and exhibit creativity in sourcing new business.
Use market knowledge, analytical skills, evangelism, product knowledge and outstanding communication and presentation skills to sell offerings to prospects.
Seek business in identified market areas, orchestrate customer visits, analyze prospect's business requirements, present proposed business solutions and demonstrate product.
Ensure corporate directives regarding sales strategies and pricing are implemented in assigned territory.
Define and clarify prospect expectations and ensure smooth sales cycle.
Partner with and manage channel partners to build territory and uncover incremental opportunities.
Evaluate market needs and communicate new business requirements to guide company in future product and market development.
Present forecasts and results to management on a regular basis and maintain sales statistics for assigned territory on an ongoing basis.
Partner with Solutions Consultants for product demonstrations.
Involve sales management and corporate executives in advancing and closing difficult sales or potential high-volume customers.
Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. degree.
Must have enterprise software sales experience with a minimum of 10 years experience in both large enterprise sales and small start-up organizations.
Proven experience selling to key business users (i.e. non-IT, Operations, Sales, CxO) in large, enterprise organizations.
Experience selling customer relationship management (CRM) or Business Intelligence (BI) related software a plus.
Demonstrated past overachievement relative to sales goals.
Experience in developing and expanding new territories and/or new market segments.
Ability to evangelize, effectively influence and negotiate.
Experience with consultative solution selling a must.
Proven ability to solve client business issues by providing a solution.
Strong communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Team player, high energy and positive attitude.
Experience with contact management systems such as Salesforce.com a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 70-80 of the time, as needed to succeed at this role.
