This position is responsible for achieving all sales targets assigned in the region. Must have the ability attract, hire and retain top talent in the aesthetic industry. This person needs to be a leader who can inspire their sales team to achieve results in an engaging style. This individual will have the ability to direct and support the Aesthetic Specialist in maintaining and growing a procedure based business in an outpatient based treatment setting. The Regional Sales Manager will also have the ability to train, direct and support the Aesthetic Specialist in the sales process of a medical device and be able to transfer this unique skill set.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

Achieve the assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets in the region.
High integrity and honesty in all dealings with customers and your colleagues
Develop, direct, manage and support a regional sales team in all aspects of account development and account management with procedure adoption being primary objective
Ability to develop and maintain both luminary and key account relationships
Proven experience in the development and execution of tactical planning and strategic execution of a business plan and sales objectives
Attract, train, manage and retain top performers in the aesthetic marketplace
Install, manage and monitor Beta accounts prior to commercial release
Build a top-notch and high performing team of specialists to drive adoption and integration of the Zeltiq Procedure in every customer account
Effectively train and support device sales in a capital equipment environment
Manage all aspects of assigned region to include but not limited to recruiting, training, developing, coaching, counseling, leading, motivating and maintaining the morale of the region
Manages, monitors and evaluates marketing, customer service and sales support at a regional level
Develop realistic goals and action plans for the Procedure Specialist as well as for the region
Manage the required administrative functions including the acceptance, integration and compliance of the Customer Relationship Management program
Attend trade shows, events and meetings as required.
Effectively manage company resources in a responsible and efficient manner
Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA?s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which ZELTIQ complies
Experience, Education, Training, Traits:
BS/BA degree required. MBA is preferred.
3+ year?s successful management experience in the aesthetic, capital equipment or similar b2b model
Ability to develop and cultivate a customer service culture consistent with the Zeltiq vision
Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred, preferably in the aesthetic market
Strong track record of success in medical device, aesthetic or pharmaceutical sector
A dedicated work ethic required for the high level of activity and intensity needed in a startup environment
An innate desire to serve the needs of your customer that includes a strong sense of personal responsibility for achieving and maintaining account satisfaction
Ability to be an ambassador for the Zeltiq technology and for the company
A true leader of people whose actions and decisions reflect this quality on a daily basis
Proven team builder who can create and manage a cohesive, high performing sales team
Proven track record in device sales with the ability to train and support regional team members
Proven Leadership ability, with flexible management style
Excellent people skills and ability to relate to a wide range of personality types

Polished presentation skills and public speaking ability
Ability to hire, train, lead and motivate a highly ethical sales team
Natural ability to relate to luminaries and key accounts to develop deep and lasting customer relationships

Proficient with Microsoft Office, including the creation of PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
Must have the ability to travel and work weekends and evenings when required
