Regional Sales Manager MindBody Software
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED This position will report to the Director of Sales (DOS). The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Sales Management team and will work in parallel with the existing RSM in East Hampton, NY. This incumbent will also be responsible for assisting in executing strategic corporate sales initiatives that support the overall performance objectives for the East Hampton sales team at MINDBODY. In addition this role is responsible for helping the DOS in growing and developing the East Hampton sales division along with the existing RSM for EH.
Assist in interviewing, and hiring new Sales Specialists for the East Hampton division.
Participate in training new Sales Specialists for the East Hampton sales division.
Mentoring and coaching of members of the East Hampton sales division
Set goals and expectations for East Hampton Sales Specialists and help them reach and achieve those goals.
Develop and Maintain Positive Relationships with MINDBODYs management team to ensure positive and continued cross departmental communication.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience in sales and staff management.
3-5 years' experience in technology sales preferably in the Software-as-a-Service market place.
Excellent Communication & Presentation Skill and ability to communicate at the executive level.
Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher) to support internal documentation, and creation of sales presentation material to aid the presales phase.
Understanding of Database Management Systems, Data Structures, and CRM
Demonstrated career stability and overachievement in previous job posts.
GENERAL DUTIES AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.
Conduct second round interviews with the DOS and be a part of the decision making process on hiring
Work with DOS and Sales Engineer with training new Sales Specialist during their first 200 hours of training
Educate new reps on the sales process from fact finding to solution selling and asking for the sale
Assist the DOS on setting individual goals for new East Hampton Sales Specialists that have been here for six months or less.
Provide monthly reporting to the DOS on the productivity of the East Hampton Sales Team.
Assist Sales Specialist with demonstrations when necessary.
Work with Sales Engineer on continually developing the Training Manual and associated training documentation
Work with other mid-level management to maintain constant communications between departments.
Provide leadership representation at the sales meeting when the DOS is not available.
Be able to travel to 12 tradeshows per year to support MINDBODY?s Strategic Business Plans
Staying abreast of industry trends & challenges which owners face within the MINDBODY verticals and delivering this insight to sales team members.
