Regional Sales Manager Accordent Technologies

Accordent Technologies seeks a Regional Sales Manager with strategic sales and enterprise software experience to grow its corporate base in the Metro New York City, Long Island and Northern New Jersey area.Responsibilities include developing and executing sales plan for Accordent's rich media webcasting and communications products within the Corporate, Education and Government vertical markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct selling to Global 2000 companies and organizations as well as assisting Accordent's national network of distribution partners within the assigned territory to reach and exceed quota objectives.
Candidates must have at least 10 years of enterprise rich-media software and solution sales experience and demonstrated track record of quota achievement, including working with a two-tier value added reseller channel. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with superior business acumen and a strong passion and determination to succeed. They will also possess excellent interpersonal, sales, supervisory and communications skills and bring a strong rolodex of senior-level contacts in the communications, IT and training departments of Fortune 500 organizations.
Experience with webcasting, streaming, media asset management and networking technologies is a significant plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite is expected; experience with NetSuite or similar CRM products a plus. BS, BA or equivalent work experience required. Expected travel up to 50.
