The Account Executive will work as a part of the Lucidworks sales team to drive sales. This person will have the primary responsibility to generate direct revenue from LucidWork?s product suite. The opportunity is for a motivated, passionate, execution-oriented sales executive to close deals for sales of LucidWorks software to new and existing accounts.

Sell LucidWorks Search and Big Data platforms to enterprise companies
Identify, influence, pitch and close deals with prospects by leveraging technical resources and your consultative abilities
Consult with prospects to determine needs and alignment with Lucid?s capabilities and products
Generate sales pipeline through outbound activities conducted in concert with field marketing programs
Respond to inbound activities and lead responses to RFPs and RFIs
Use CRM systems for activity tracking, pipeline reporting and forecasting
Work with marketing to provide useful feedback to improve lead generation
10+ years of enterprise software sales experience
Enterprise search sales experience a huge plus
Understanding of the role and opportunity for search in solving specific customer problems (eCommerce, BI etc)
Knowledge and passion for emerging technologies, and applicability in solving problems
Experience selling software products and services to large and mid-market enterprises
Must have excellent verbal communication / presentation skills
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth company
Someone who can both define strategy and drive execution of new business initiatives ? someone who can ?figure it out? and ?get it done?
A strong, verifiable track record of managing complex, revenue generating relationships
Referencable relationships with relevant technology companies
Technical understanding of various IT architectures, data center operations and cloud services
Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams
