Regional Channel/Sales Representative
We are looking for a Regional Channel/Sales Representative who will be responsible for leveraging both channel opportunities and direct sales opportunities. Candidates for this position should be familiar with and comfortable with a technology ?enterprise sales? approach and effectively work independently. We are looking for individuals that can quickly find, qualify, and close sales opportunities leveraging their channel relationships or by their direct sales efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicates AZALEOS?s value and solution effectively through Solution Selling.
Forges high level relationships with Channel partners and Accounts in the territory Region.
Identifies major messaging projects within channel partners and co-ordinate our activities through pre-sales, consulting etc. to maximize our solution in the project.
Identifies and qualifies long-term and short-term business opportunities within named accounts, enhancing the relationship.
Presents to all levels of the organization including executive level and prepares formal proposals.
Leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision making process and overcomes objectives to closure.
Develops and delivers sales presentation and closes sales in a professional and effective manner:
Develops technical presentation & workshops.
Organizes channel training to educate, motivate, and activate sales people.
Maintains up to date awareness of activities, industry trends & government regulations.
Makes regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.
Acts to close deals & finalize contacts.
Meets/exceeds sales quotas and revenue goals.
Handles account relationship management.
Facilitates executive-level relationships between the customer, AZALEOS and its partners; including facilitating communication on strategic and tactical issues.
Identifies long and short-term opportunities to address the customer?s business needs and pro-actively identifies and addresses competitive threats.
Researches customer needs and develops applications for the Azaleos solution in an effective manner.
Determines market strategies & goals and understands the messaging strategies, goals and objectives of named accounts.
Researches and develops lists of potential customers within an organization.
Follows up on leads and develops leads.
Maintains an understanding of industry messaging trends and technical developments that affect our target markets.
Works closely with sales support staff (inside sales account manager, SE, Managers) to establish a communication path with the customer.
Participates in sales forecasting and planning:
Researches, develops & maintains long & short range sales & marketing plans
Ensures Dynamics is utilized appropriately and maintained on a regular basis.
Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers.
BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
Typically 6+ years (minimum 4 years) direct work experience with enterprise software sales experience.
Enterprise Email solution sales experience is preferred.
Self motivated and independent ? proactively keeping management aware of progress with a demonstrated passion to be successful.
Excellent written and oral communication ability including formal presentation skills to both small and large groups.
Must be able to understand and articulate complex technology in a simplistic fashion.
Demonstrated ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing sales.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to maintain positive working relationships with all levels of management internally and externally.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Must be proficient in MS Office Applications including, but not limited to: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
