JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a Regional Sales Manager position with the primary focus on developing and selling net new business opportunities for the company?s windows solutions. The successful Regional Sales Manager must be an experienced, eager, and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and superior sales abilities. As a Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for following up on incoming leads, prospecting for new business by making outbound calls to generate product interest, software evaluations management and handling all aspects of selling and servicing prospects and customer accounts in an assigned territory. You must be able to forecast sales activity and exceed revenue achievement goals, while building and creating a satisfied customer base. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized and able to multi-task.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Achieve or exceed a quarterly and annual sales quota
? Responsible for sales forecasting, lead generation, heavy prospecting and account management through the close cycle
? Strategically manage sales cycle and email campaigns
? Develop and maintain superior relationships with contacts and decision-makers
? Consistently maintain monthly sales quota and revenue goals
? Maintain activity standards (number of sales calls, number of product demonstrations, number of product demos, evaluations, time spent prospecting, generating pipeline, strong writing skills and RFI/RFP preparation, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
? Minimum of 5-10 years software sales experience - to include extensive cold calling experience and the ability to set and attain high goals and quotas
? Must have knowledge of the identity and access management and security software markets, industry trends, competitors, customer needs, and go to market strategies.
? Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced competitive sales environments
? Ability to build relationships and develop value with C-Level executives in large enterprises and navigate through large organizations to reach key decision makers
? BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
? Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM system)
? Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
? Cold calling discipline, persistence, tenacity, an eagerness to learn and an aggressive closer personality
? Adept at overcoming objectives and identifying compelling events to drive sales cycle forward
? Strong selling, negotiating and relationship-building skills.
? Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
? Strong ability to identify, reach and develop new prospects and customer accounts
? Self-starter; results-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively without close supervision
? Proven ability to effectively interface and work cooperatively with individuals of all levels
? Proven track record of managing multiple accounts
? Some travel required
