Description
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a large territory, finding and closing new customers, managing accounts and generating revenue while achieving individual, team and organizational goals. This individual will be a valuable contributor to the Xactly Sales Team while defining and executing a territory sales plan that will allow Xactly to achieve corporate objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Finding and closing business in a large geographic territory
- Creating and executing a territory sales plan
- Demonstrating our product and working with solutions consultants to define and build demonstration to meet prospect requirements
- Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
- Managing a fast, intricate sales cycles in a team selling environment
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5-10 years of quota carrying software or technology sales as an individual contributor
- Proven record of sales success throughout sales career
- Successful track record in a high volume transaction sales environment
- Working knowledge of the ICM and/or CRM space a plus
- Excellent presentation and listening skills to communicate effectively with multiple senior management and C-level contacts
- Must be able to thrive and adapt to change in a very fast paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
- Proactive territory management and prospecting
- Excellent follow up skills and professionalism
- High energy and a positive attitude
- Experience selling SAAS solutions is a plus.
