Zumobi is currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to work out of New York and Los Angeles. Ideal candidate will drive sales for Zumobi among key brand advertisers and agencies. Candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of all offerings and the ability to suggest creative ideas for sponsorships and promotions . This is an individual contributor position with primary sales responsibility for the region.
Specific Responsibilities: ? Build direct revenue through ad sales to high quality targeted customers for sponsorships in mobile applications ? Work collaboratively with Zumobi premiere publishing partners where needed to maximize revenue and efforts ? Maintain long term relationships with key clients and agencies ? Represent Zumobi on direct client calls, as mobile expert with partners where needed, and at industry events
Candidate Requirements:
? At least 5 years experience in selling advertising and promotions programs, with at least 3 years recent online sales experience required ? Comfortable with selling promotions, integrated partnership programs beyond banner advertisements; past online agency media planning/ buying is a plus ? Solid understanding of the online publisher-side sales processes and online advertising agency management and structure ? Strong consultative sales skills and knowledge of the regional market and potential; current agency and client relationships are a must ? Candidate must be detail oriented, both written and verbally articulate, a self starter, possess high energy and possess solid presentation, creative and analytical skills ? Can-do, competitive yet team-oriented attitude, the drive to make Zumobi the most effective application for advertising ? Must be comfortable working with a fast-paced multimedia sales team, partnering with print sales on integrated programs as well as high impact, stand alone online sales ? Some out of state travel is required
