The Regional Sales Manager will report to the VP Sales & Business Development and will be responsible for leading a regional sales team. The Regional Sales Manager will lead a team of 4 ? 8 Account Executives who are responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities with existing customers as well as with prospects within their assigned territory. Travel throughout the USA will average about 40% - 50%. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the regional sales team which will include interviewing, hiring, and actively developing Account Executives to ensure they have a superior company and product knowledge, and can effectively and efficiently manage the sales process. The RSM will be assigned an annual sales plan, which will be measured on an ongoing basis to evaluate performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieving/exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets
Guide and mentor Account Executives on resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
Ensure that all Account Executives are following the company?s standard sales process.
Assist with negotiations and contractual agreement to close the sale.
Meet with key clients, maintain ?C-level? contacts, mentor Account Executives to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals.
Sales forecasting and planning
Develop and implement strategic sales plans
Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.
Maintain up-to-date understanding of competitors' activities and competitive offerings.
Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.
Interviewing and hiring of Account Executives
Travel with Account Executives to execute the above items will be required ( on average 40-50%).

Detailed working knowledge & experience of the Solution Selling Methodology.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor?s Degree required, MBA beneficial
5+ years of successful field sales experience of cloud-based software solutions
3+ years of sales management experience within the SaaS environment
Any experience in the HR, HCM, Talent Acquisition or Higher Education markets would be highly preferred
