The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing all sales activities in assigned sales region and achieving sales and profit objectives of the organization, rregional sales analysis, strategy development to ensure sales forecasts and operational budgets are met or exceeded in the assigned sales region. Works directly with Field Sales and Service Representatives of laboratory and distribution partners, promotes clinical utility of Lp-PLA2 to health care providers to achieve physician demand and adoption in sales region.
Responsible for business development and meeting all sales goals assigned for the region of responsibility:
Acts as the liaison between customers in assigned region (laboratories, distributors, health care providers) and other departments of the company.
Obtains customer orders according to established policies and procedures.
Trains and assists distributors? and lab partner representatives in the region with product and sales techniques as they relate to enhancing Company sales.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
Delivers sales presentations to key clients, business partners, physicians and distributors.
Meets with key clients, assisting with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing new business.
Analyzes and controls expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements.
Evaluates, develops and implements regional sales plan and monitors monthly to make adjustments as needed to achieve sales objectives.
Prepares monthly territory management report, showing sales volume, potential sales, and potential areas for client base expansion.
