Regional Sales Manager - Southwest Region NetMotion Wireless

The Regional Sales Manager is a critical member of the NetMotion sales organization that reports to a Regional VP of Sales. This is a remote position that is based in the Southwest Region. The RSM is responsible for driving significant revenue growth from both commercial and government customers and existing NetMotion customers and prospects, selling both directly and with channel partners. The RSM must have a demonstrated ability to proactively manage and develop a large, diverse sales territory and effectively lead a cross-functional team consisting of an inside sales representative and sales engineer.
Ideal candidates will be based in the Los Angeles/Southern California area. Due to the nature of the role, 50%+ travel is expected.
NetMotion Wireless Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) software gives organizations with mobile workforces the connectivity, visibility and control needed to solve the common challenges of wireless computing. Our software is the only tool on the market that creates and sustains secure connections to enterprise applications over any network, ensuring mobile workers are more efficient and productive. At the same time, it provides detailed visibility into the performance of public and private cellular networks, managed through a centralized control console. This enables enterprises to quickly identify and resolve problems within their mobile deployment, saving time and creating a significant return on their mobile investments.

Your Role as a Key Contributor
The RSM will partner with the Regional VP and team to drive sales strategy and deals for the region. In this role you will also have the opportunity to work with existing NetMotion channel partners, building relationships and networking to increase the sales pipeline.
Types of Ongoing Projects and Responsibilities
Effectively prospect, identify and drive a large number of sales opportunities through the qualification process and to closure.
Manage what is typically a long, complex sales cycles with large organizations.
Communicate with and sell to networking, security and business line managers within large organizations.
Work with NetMotion?s existing local distribution relationships in order to maximize revenue generation, including building awareness of NetMotion?s value proposition within partner organizations and assisting those partners on customer sales calls and in closing business.
Actively participate as a member of the NetMotion team by sharing knowledge and committing to the achievement of common business objectives.
In order to come up to speed quickly in this position it is imperative that you have three to five years of enterprise sales experience with an enterprise software company. You must be passionate about selling a technology product and be able to communicate the value proposition of a networking software product to audiences of varying levels of technical understanding. You can be successful in this position if you are self-directed and have had experience working out of a home office as a remote employee previously.
Specifically you will have:
Experience in prospecting, cold calling and identifying opportunities in the Southwest Region.
A proven track record of sales success within the enterprise software industry ? including quota performance and revenue growth.
Experience selling enterprise Mobility Solutions, security or networking products is highly desirable.
Proven track record of success of working within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving start-up environment.
Experience selling to verticals such as insurance, utilities, healthcare, telecommunications or other verticals with a large number of mobile field workers is desirable.
Experience selling wireless products to enterprise customers is desirable.
Experience working out of a home office as a remote employee is required.
Outstanding communication, planning and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel +50%
