Regional Sales Vice President Profile
As a high growth start-up company, we are looking for talented sales professionals ready to take their career to the next level. Specifically, we are looking for talented ?sales athletes? who have consistently over-achieved their quota?s, selling complex solutions in net-new business environment.
Intelligence, integrity and a fire-in-the-belly are all table stakes for this role. In addition, the selected candidate will have proven success in using innovation to open doors, highly effective skills in positioning value to C-Suite Executives, and unsurpassed teaming capabilities to win the deal!
Responsibilities:
To accomplish this, you must be able to:
Establish, foster & manage relationships with prospective customer/target senior executives (CHRO?s and Total Rewards Leaders) based upon innovation & value
Develop a sufficient pipeline of qualified prospects in line with Accolade?s overall sales and growth strategy, including: identifying & researching top prospects, developing detailed account plans in line with a complex sale methodology, and driving sufficient demand to meet quarterly and annual targets
Identify customer needs and priorities by conducting discovery meetings to identify the CHRO?s Top Agenda topics (e.g. performance management, top talent retention, recruiting, health and productivity strategies)
Determining how the Employer?s benefits strategy ties into the CHRO?s Agenda
Developing a clear understanding of the employer?s current benefits vendor strategy along with performance metrics associated with those relationships
Shaping customer?s strategy and buying requirements through thought leadership and tailoring solutions and proposals for specific customer requirements
Demonstrating value of Accolade?s services by developing and presenting a bi-lateral (Accolade & employer) business case to support an Accolade at-risk relationship
Negotiate and close large, complex multi-year contracts with Fortune 500 self-insured companies
Qualifications:
This role requires:
BS/BA required, MA/MBA a plus
7-10 years + of consistent over-achievement in success in selling complex solutions and/or services (e.g., outsourcing arrangements, enterprise-wide agreements, etc.)
Proven capabilities in driving net new business opportunities (versus selling into an existing client / customer base)
Proven evangelical sales track record in a new product/new market environment.
A strong & loyal customer/client list reflecting a dedication for ?always doing the right thing? for the customer
Extensive knowledge and experience in the Health services industry considered a plus
Proven track record of building relationships, influencing thinking through a consultative sales process, and closing complex sales in a solutions business or outsourcing situation
Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
Experience in negotiating and closing large, complex contracts Fortune 500 companies
Extremely strong written and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to learn complex information
