Regional Sales VP PHX

Magazine as one of the top 10 job creators in NJ as well as NJBiz as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies, PHX is seeking an aggressive, results oriented individual who will be able to drive PHX core sales within our Western US territory.
The Regional Sales VP is responsible for leading and managing the identification of potential new clients, in specified territory, for PHX services. Responsibilities will include contacting prospects to present our products and our value proposition, closing the sale by obtaining a signed services agreement, and overseeing the implementation process for the new client into PHX?s production environment. The RVP also is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the client relationship in conjunction with Account Management.
Meet or exceed all assigned sales quotas; individual and territorial.
Continuously develop a qualified pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, telephone marketing, attendance at trade shows and industry events, and leveraging of business relationships and networks.
Develop and deliver sales presentations on PHX services to qualified prospects, including third party administrators, self-insured plans, plan sponsors and insurance companies.
Write proposals that meet prospective client?s needs, and collaborate with PHX management to develop pricing that represents good value to the client while maintaining reasonable PHX margins.
Follow through on all presentations to deliver a proposal, negotiate a services agreement, and close the sale.
Travel 50%+ within Western US territory
7+ years demonstrated sales prospecting and lead generation experience
College degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years sales preferably to the health care payer sector
Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the operational processes of healthcare payers and an understanding of their goals and objectives
Superior communication and organizational skills
Fast learner with the ability to operate within the highest levels of our target market
Use of Salesforce.com or similar CRM
