As the Regional Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for key decisions regarding key technology partner integration architecture strategies. In this position you will be leading the development of solutions to meet customer needs, present and future. To effectively build and design technology strategies, it is important to have the skills to build strong relationships within and outside the company. You will be expected to take ownership of initiatives and programs relating to solution delivery. The ideal candidate will have a good mix of deep technical and business experience and will not only understand the solutions but also effectively communicate the high level vision.
Develop strategy and roadmaps to create technical solutions
Participate in pre/post sales process to understand customer requirements, technical objectives, and product features
Design solutions to meet the business/technical objectives
Work with internal and external delivery teams to map, design, and produce system integrations, including custom scripting as required.
Effectively communicate solutions architecture to the customer, third parties and project teams
Strong presentation, executive client management and business development skills
Provide feedback to Product Management based on sales organization and customer generated feedback
Ensure proposals are technically sound, deliverable, competitive and representative of market leadership
Create and provide multi-level technical and sales training documentation for field sales teams
Design, develop, and maintain a dynamic lab environment that can be rapidly configured to suite specific hardware or software solutions
Education, Experience & Skills Required
Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
10 plus yrs pre-sales solution architecture experience in the computer security and or computer networking space.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner. Set and manage expectations with senior stake-holders and team members.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills. This role requires an ability to understand and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of FireEye products and solutions.
Excellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including the following:
Linux, Network architecture/implementation/configuration experience and knowledge of packet flow/TCP/UDP traffic Firewall technologies, proxy technologies, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions (Gateway and SaaS) Malware/security experience.
Understand and be conversant about FireEye competitors, their solutions, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Overnight travel throughout the region is required.
