Overview
The Regional Vice President of Sales is primarily responsible for closing hospital sales within an identified geographic area. The Regional Vice President of Sales is also expected to support organizational efforts to maintain strong customer relationships and organizational success within defined region.
Reports to
National Vice President of Sales
Responsibilities
Execute the Employer?s sales plan consisting of sales objectives, strategies and tactics to drive the company?s growth.
Maintain and utilize the Employer?s sales systems that support performance reporting and the collection and analysis of pertinent data in order to maximize sales resources.
Execute the Employer?s sales plan in order to achieve company performance objectives.
Actively execute the Employer?s sales process from identifying and qualifying potential prospects to closing sales.
Report regularly on sales status and performance.
Represent the Employer at trade shows and industry meetings.
Skill Requirements
Seven plus years of sales experience.
Strong knowledge of selling to hospitals at multiple levels.
Four plus years of healthcare sales experience; experience selling complex clinical service solutions to hospital personnel preferred.
Ability to develop positive relationships with hospital senior management, medical staff leadership and physicians.
Consultative and solution selling skills.
Verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Formalized sales training (any discipline).
Possess outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor?s degree or higher.
