Regional Vice President, Sales (West) SAVO

The Regional Vice President (RVP), Sales is responsible for leading a team of sellers responsible for selling SAVO?s suite of products and solutions to clients in the Western Region of the United Sates. The RVP will be ultimately responsible for the acquisition of new clients and revenue growth generated by sellers in the region. In addition to new client acquisition, the RVP will be responsible for the onboarding and coaching of new sellers. A successful RVP will have the ability to proactively navigate and engage various decision-makers and influencers; uncovering goals and associated challenges; and communicating a vision of the value each can achieve through SAVO?s enabling capabilities.
Oversee the primary activities of field sales representatives to maximize sales revenues and attain corporate objectives.
Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams accurately.
Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies.
Develop specific revenue plans for sales teams as needed to ensure growth in all products/services targeted by the organization.
Handle personnel activities of staff (i.e., hire, train, reward, motivate, discipline, terminate, performance reviews, and pay discussions).
Serve as escalation point for issues beyond team authority; resolve team conflicts as necessary.
Perform sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
Develop sales plans, strategies, and final presentations designed to enhance revenue growth and meet customer needs.
Maintain regular contact with Account Executives.
Remain knowledgeable of organization's products/services to facilitate sales efforts.
Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and how to best utilize the organization's products and services to achieve their intended outcome.
Remain knowledgeable of SAVO's products and services, as well as competitors and threats within accounts that need to be overcome, in order to advance and facilitate your sales efforts.
Acquire and integrate industry knowledge and insight related to general trends, methodologies, emerging technologies and competitors.
Job Requirements :
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Previous experience in sales leadership within a high growth SaaS organization.
Understanding of sales methodology(s)
Track record of meeting and exceeding quota by growing in a geographical region over a sustained period of time.
Ability to manage remote sales force
Bachelors degree in business or related disciple
Must accommodate high level of travel
