Hours: 3:00 a.m. ? 11:00 a.m.
This person will review and correct Open Interest and Large Trader reporting for all exchanges in which RJO must report such information. In addition, as a secondary responsibility, the employee will provide operational support (allocation processing, etc.) for RJO?s Asian and UK offices.
Duties & Responsibilities
The employee will be responsible for ensuring that RJO?s internal bookkeeping positions match open positions at various exchanges. This will require analysis of discrepancies and making adjustments to RJO?s back office system and/or the exchanges? system(s). The employee will review email instructions for offsets and make the corresponding Open Interest and Large Trader Reporting adjustments for RJO?s omnibus accounts at the exchange(s) by the applicable exchange(s) deadline(s). The adjustments will be replicated in RJO?s systems and the employee will calculate and post any fees that will accrue to customers.The employee will also be responsible for researching exchange inquiries related to regulatory reporting and working with the Compliance Department to formulate a response to the query.
Between activities required for meeting RJO?s regulatory reporting requirements, the employee will support RJO?s remote offices by processing allocations and performing other functions to provide more ?real-time? support for customers in other time zones.
Minimum of 1 year experience in financial reporting or regulatory reporting at a financial services firm.
The ability to meet a work schedule with a 3:00 AM start
Be self directed and motivated.
Keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which allow for solving complex problems and performing operational analysis with limited direct guidance.
Strong accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.
