Job SummaryThe Release Automation Engineer drives release automation initiatives in a dynamic and highly configurable SaaS product environment. The Release Automation Engineer is involved all aspects of product release and willl drive processes to implement scalable tools and processes that are key to our success. This is a hands on technical position requiring experience with the Microsoft application development stack. Product deployment involves coordination across a variety of technologies including C#, MVC, web, third party tools and SQLServer. The successful candidate would be an experienced software developer with a strong vision for how source code, release processes, deployment, and configuration can be structured to create reliable, scalable, and automatable processes.
Technology Environment:
Software-as-a-service business model (SaaS) ? multi-client shared/non-shared instances
High-performance, highly-scalable, big-data analytics system
Agile development processes, continual release processes
Microsoft SQLServer, T-SQL, C#, .NET, IIS, SSIS, SSRS, , JIRA, Subversion, and Cognos
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of professional development experience with the technology environment outlined above
Experience with build automation, release/deployment automation and automation regression test development
BS in Computer Science, EE or related discipline
Healthcare, business intelligence, analytics or big data experience a big plus
