Release/Build Management Engineer Gazelle

We develop Rails and Java applications on Mac and Linux, use open-source tools, scale on the Cloud, and are looking for a Build Engineer to optimize it all!

Responsibilities

• Manage/develop build scripts to provide fast, repeatable build/test process for Ruby and Java applications
• Work with development team to support continuous-integration systems and processes
• Manage branch/tag/diff activities for releases
• Collaborate with netops team to enable a simple, stable deployment process
• Administer source code repositories at Github and provide guidance on repository organization
• Provide technical evaulation of third-party libraries and platform development tools
• Manage Ruby Gem versioning and Gem library

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly and succinctly express your opinions and ideas
• RoR build automation experience supporting a multi-tier website
• Experience with Java build environments (ANT, Maven, Eclipse, etc.)
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
• Bachelors degress in CS or related field preferred
• Strong knowlege of source code management best-practices and administration
• Confident self-starter capable of setting plans and driving to completion
• Experience with enterprise service bus systems a plus
