Release Engineer Black Duck Software

Responsibilities:
? Administer the SCM system (Subversion - source control) across multiple projects
? Administer and maintain the automated build scripts within CruiseConrol
? Integrate and maintain automated tests into the nightly build
? Manage all branching across multiple projects and platforms
? Work closely with development and Quality Assurance on new Release Engineering processes to support the continuous growth within the environment

Required Skills:
? Experience administrating SCM systems such as Subversion, CVS or Git
? Experience working with Continuous Integration tools (Cruise Control)
? Strong knowledge working in a UNIX and/or Linux environments
? Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl, Python and BASH
? Experience with troubleshooting/debugging build related issues
? Experience working in small to midsized product development companies
? Ability to manage multiple versions/branches/merging

Qualifications
? Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
? At least 5 -7 years experience in software Release Engineering role
? Strong understanding of the SDLC and how Release Engineering fits into all phases
? Experiencing working in a Quality Assurance test role is a plus
? Ability to work in a dynamic environment
? Ability to reach out and find dependent information
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) for interfacing with development and Quality Assurance team members
