Release Management & Tools Engineer VeriVue

Verivue is looking for a dynamic and forwarding thinking candidate who will be responsible for all aspects of Release Engineering for product delivery and will influence processes and technology across the entire organization. The candidate will also be responsible for working with individual product teams to assess requirements, make recommendations and implement solutions, with the purpose of ensuring timely delivery of software product in a repeatable and reliable manner. The candidate must be effective in collaborating day-to-day with agile scrum development teams on sprint and release oriented deliverables.6-10 years of Release Engineering experience.
Experience using and managing Subversion, Git, and ClearCase, and is able to articulate the differences and when/why/pros/cons of using them.
Thorough knowledge of continuous integration, build environments and software development life cycles with experience using either Jenkins/Hudson, TeamCity or similar
Extensive knowledge of branch/merge strategies and can recommend when/why to use them based on the project/situational needs.
Extensive knowledge and applied experience with build script technology, specifically Python, Perl, Bash, clearmake Makefiles, and RPM build scripts.
Experience with dependency/repository management tools like Maven and Nexus a plus.
