Job Description:
TradingScreen, the leading independent provider of liquidity, trading and investment technology via SaaS to the financial community, is seeking a Development Release Manager to execute our build and release processes.
Role Description
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of all build and release processes and to document, coordinate, and report the build activities and status of software releases across the firm. Working closely with a global team of java developers, QA analysts and business stakeholders, the Release Manager will contribute to the successful development, testing, integration and implementation of the software tools that support our business. Additionally, this position will assume responsibility for extracting, compiling, testing, securing, and promoting application source code into a releasable system and performing full and partial builds from documented enhancements / defects as required.
Mandatory skills and experience
Extensive hands-on experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems
Experience with Java and J2EE development platform
Prior experience with continuous integration build and deploy systems
Experience with modern version control and configuration management tools (Subversion, Maven, Nexus)
Familiarity with scripting in a UNIX environment (Shell, Perl)
Ability to working independently while also contributing to the global development team
Thorough understanding of build, change and release management concepts
Minimum 5 years configuration management experience
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience with IntelliJ, Crucible, Fisheye, TeamCity, JIRA and JUnit
Automated build and Code inspection tools (Team City)
