Summary
Telltale Games is searching for a Release & Submission Specialist to coordinate product submissions on current and emerging game platforms. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in a fast paced and award winning production environment. The position will help to streamline existing procedures and innovate new ways to efficient release monthly episodic game content. This position will be responsible for configuring product meta data, owning submission processes and documents, tracking build progress, and driving release dates. The ideal candidate will have product management skills, technical proficiency, obsess over details, and have product release experience with Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Apple, or Steam products.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with marketing, production, quality assurance, and executive teams to setup product sale, release, and test configurations
Setup, coordination and oversight of software releases, patches, and emergency change requests
Work very closely with Playstation Network, Microsoft Game Developer, Apple Developer Portal, Nintendo Development Group, and Steamworks tools and documentation for product configuration and submission
Coordinate with all departments from production handoff to submission; helping to identify risks, removing obstacles, and providing oversight for the process as a whole
Drive definition and evolution of release processes and automation to optimize efficiency and quality while meeting the demands of rapid growth and operational complexity
Stay up to date with the latest distributions and tools from our partners
Essential Skills and Experience
Minimum 1 year product release or build experience in the games industry with any of the following: Windows, Mac OSX, XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii, PS3, PSP, or IOS devices.
Experience with production submission documentation, release management tools and product approvals
Exceptionally detail oriented, organized, and a strong communicator
Demonstrated experience with shipping games on time
Thrive under pressure, maintaining a steady pace and detailed work in the face of multiple deadlines.
Some technical background with working knowledge of common industry build and production tools
Preferred Skills and Experience
2 or more years experience working with console submission tools and documentation
Experience building cross disciplinary practices and processes to improve development efficiency
Working knowledge of continuous integration and automation systems (Cruise Control, QuickBuild, Teamcity, etc. . .)
Great understanding of existing and emerging platforms, game distribution methods, and marketplaces
Bachelor degree or equivalent in prior work experience
