Stion Corporation is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to support the Quality and Reliability Department. The engineer will assist in the reliability testing of cells, laminates, and modules as needed for experiments, product development, ongoing reliability testing, and qualification testing.Primary Responsibilities:
Work with members of reliability group and outside vendors to maintain time lines
Perform specimen preparation and quality control tests
Assist in building and maintaining Reliability and FA Labs capabilities
Perform long-term aging/stress interval test characterization, including electrical testing, visual inspection, and documentation of any failure mode developments
Write reports to document test results
Other tasks assigned by your manager
Up to 30% travel required
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in reliability and failure analysis of semiconductor devices, packages or related materials / products. Background in photovoltaic packaging, reliability and failure analysis preferred
Ability to work well with others on a team
Good verbal and written communication skills
Capable of being flexible and working on different tasks - very hands-on
Ability to work independently with minimum instruction
Detail-oriented and quality-driven
