Description:Reliability Maintenance Planner & Scheduler
The Maintenance Planner & Scheduler ensures the plant?s operational equipment remains safe, reliable, and properly maintained to support necessary production targets for customer satisfaction and within delivery guidelines. This position has dual responsibility for PM program implementation and some and performing preventative maintenance on instrument and electrical (I&E) equipment.
Duties:GENERAL MAINTENANCE DUTIES:
?Works safely and follow implemented safety policies of the plant (e.g. PPE, safe work permits, lock-out tag-out).
?Enters work orders, orders replacement parts, manages spares inventory, maintains preventative maintenance records, arrange contractor safety training, manages invoices and purchase orders.
?Maintains good housekeeping in daily work area and within the common maintenance shops and fabrication areas.
?Attends scheduled maintenance team meetings and trainings.
?Checks e-mail frequently for meeting notices, changes in plans, general communications, etc.
?Utilizes the Management of Change (MOC) process for documenting and acknowledging changes to procedures, equipment, etc.
?Participates in a regular off-hours on-call rotation to respond to plant problems.
?Works with construction representative and guides construction contractors.
?Interfaces frequently (>3X/day) with operators to understand and respond to maintenance issues.
?Supports project teams with constructability, maintainability and spare parts input to layout and equipment design.
?Coordinates and performs preventative maintenance on instrument and electrical (I&E) equipment according to schedule.
?Understands wiring diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID?s), process flow sheets, schematics, technical manuals, etc.
?Marks-up layouts, P&ID?s and one-lines for update by drafting.
?Performs skilled work of average to considerable difficulty in the accomplishment of a variety of electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance tasks including:
?Set-up, calibrate, test, and repair all types of controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical and electronic variables.
?Maintenance and troubleshooting of 120 VAC electrical systems
?With the Process Control Engineer, support Distributed Control System including:
Hardware and software, Programming, troubleshooting and optimizing.
?Performs skilled work of average to considerable difficulty in the accomplishment of a variety of mechanical maintenance tasks including:
oPipefitting (threaded, welded, tubing).
oEquipment setting and alignment.
oMechanical repair of pumps, valves, etc.
?Bachelor's Degree Preferred (Mechanical Engineering).
?Must be computer competent and able to become proficient with Company-specific programs.
?Must be able to work 12-hour shifts; 4 days on/ 4 days off
?Night shift flexibility for on-call work is a must.
?Must be able to work in a 24 / 7 / 365 environment.
?At least 5 years in a similar role in a production environment
?Prior work history within a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
?Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience a plus
?Oracle experience a plus
Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English
