Project Leadership Associates provides support to clients in an environment that gives them access to an Enterprise class level of support. Our remote help desk position will allow you to use your experience from across technology to support user end problems and enterprise systems access. This role will provide a challenging environment where your creative problem solving skills and great customer service mantra will allow your career to grow within our expanding environment. Below is an overview of the skills utilized in this role to produce success.
The role of this Remote Help Desk Consultant:
Call Center Responder
Ticket Responder
Maintain Tickets and Updates
Status Reporting
Application Training
Basic Technical Skills:
Desktop O/S: Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista and 7.
Desktop Applications: Office 2000/2003/2007, Project, Visio, Adobe, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, etc.
Proven design, planning and implementation experience in Windows XP deployments and migrations.
Experience in desktop deployment tools including Symantec Ghost, USMT, Office 2003/2007 administrative installations and WSUS is a plus.
Experience with integrating 3rd party applications with client desktop environment.
Experience and understanding of different VPN technologies.
Experience with Remote Control utilities such as Remote desktop, terminal services, VNC, PC-anywhere, LogMeIn, Citrix Assist. (Pertains to Remote Help Desk position)
Experience implementing and troubleshooting PDA, Windows Mobile and BlackBerry devices.
Experience troubleshooting both network and local printing issues.
Base-level administration of 2000/03/08 Server and Active Directory.
Proficient in implementing and maintaining corporate backup solutions.
Exchange 2000/03/07 Server and mail system administration experience a plus.
Experience documenting network and desktop environments.
Business Requirements for Position:
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain follow-up procedures consistently.
Professional attire and clean shaven.
2 years minimum experience in a desktop deployment, management and support position.
1+ years experience working on Network specific responsibilities (Network Administrator or equivalent).
Certifications a plus (A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA).
Day to Day Responsibilities will include:
Provide support for small and mid-size business environments - both major networking components and Desktop
PCs/laptops/printers, etc.
Identifying, scanning and cleaning of infected desktop environments.
Maintain inventory, quality control, and help desk ticketing system.
Product Procurement (purchasing activities).
Creation and testing of PC and laptop images, laptop and PC deployments/migrations.
Maintaining network systems backup, deployment and restoration process.
Real-time ticket creation and tracking.
