THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED FirstRain is seeking a highly driven and successful Renewals Specialist to secure subscription renewals. This is an important role that maintains and strengthens FirstRain's existing relationships with our customers so that they will continue using the FirstRain solutions. The Renewals Specialist will be responsible for owning, driving and managing the renewals process through to executed contracts. Success in this role will lead to further career opportunities within FirstRain.
Roles & Responsibility:
Manage a portfolio of customer renewals, ensuring customer retention and high contract value renewal rates
Per customer, identify the customer requirements and demonstrate strong account management skills to drive renewal closures
Accurately forecast and close renewal pipeline on a quarterly basis
Analyze customer usage data/patterns to help determine successful renewal strategies
Maintain effective, revenue generating relationship with decision makers and champions
Prepare error-free proposals and/or Statements of Work
Work closely with Finance and Legal teams to ensure contracts are accurate
Work with internal resources to develop comprehensive strategies to reach renewal target
Indentify up sell opportunities for the sales team to pursue within assigned accounts
Assist in securing large scale renewals which are led by sales rep
Minimum 3-year applicable work experience, B.A./B.S. required.
Expert knowledge of new contract and renewal contract ordering processes
Demonstrate tremendous attention to detail, ensuring accurate contracts and diligent entry of data in salesforce.com.
Strong negotiation skills
Have positive, effective phone skills: including excellent listening, presentation, and objection handling
Ability to manage multiple activities and communications simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) required to maintain strong communication with Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance teams
Are proficient with standard corporate productivity tools CRM and Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel
Must excel in a high-energy, high-growth sales team environment, and are highly motivated, tenacious, resourceful and a self-starter.
