Compusearch Software Systems Inc., a leading provider of COTS-based procurement and grants management solutions for the federal government, is seeking Report Developers to support the design, development, implementation and operation of business intelligence and reporting solutions throughout both the Federal Civilian and DoD market.
Our report writers work on a broad range of assignments including the following:
Support the management, technical, and analytical aspects of Compusearch software solutions at client sites, including using and implementing various reporting interfaces to generate, test and deploy queries and business intelligence related solutions.
Efficiently and adeptly transform data requests into reporting that contains meaningful performance metrics for different levels of users: from the end user to high ranking government officials.
Efficiently and effectively grasp new hierarchical data structures and new software solutions. Create the most exciting reporting solutions using the data and tools available.
Develop and implement real-time integrations with the COTS databases, dashboards and any other administrative and programmatic software systems.
Experience, Skills/Abilities, and Education:
2-8 years experience in the design, development, implementation and operation of web-based applications, especially federal administration applications such as procurement, grants, financial management, asset management
Strong knowledge of database architecture and development particularly relating to federal software systems including experience with Oracle PL/SQL, MS Excel, Business Objects and others.
Hands-on, demonstrable experience in Oracle DBMS, XML/web services, ASP, .NET, SOAP, APIs and related technologies
Strong problem-solving, analysis, communication, and teamwork skills
Experience working as a contractor for Federal clients a plus
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline
Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates will need to be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time, communicate orally and in writing, and be able to travel to and work in multiple locations
