The Reporting Analyst is responsible for innovating, refining and implementing the reporting processes necessary to evaluate and improve the operations of the Managed Services department. The position will leverage technology to automate recurring reports and adapt/improve reports over time. This is an evolving position and the Reporting Analyst must be flexible and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities as needs are identified.
Automate reoccurring reports and maintain accuracy of existing automated reports;
Maintain and distribute data on renewal rates, upsells, pilots and client status reports;
Develop and maintain benchmark metrics that provide insight into activity across different verticals, business problems and 3rd party platforms;
Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and provide additional insights as needed;
Explore processes for productivity gains and quality improvement;
Function as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for statistical reports, clarifying dashboards and underlying data to team and clients as needed;
Gain consensus from team members and other stakeholders on assumptions used to ensure accuracy of analyses.
2+ years in a reporting specialist position;
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation, analysis and graphical representations;
Experience writing complex SQL queries and strong understanding of data structures;
Experience developing professional, client-facing deliverables;
High level of ownership and project management skills;
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience with analytical SQL functions;
Web or VBA programming experience;
Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools;
SSRS design and implementation.
