Our rapidly growing international firm involved in executive search at the C-level is currently seeking a high-energy team member to assist during an exciting phase of our development. We are located in downtown Palo Alto, with an office in London and work with venture capital, private equity and publically traded technology firms.
We are seeking a sharp, confident, professional researcher who will be working our team and the most influential players in high tech. The researcher will assist the team by identifying the relevant executives and companies to target for high-tech executive search engagements.
--Provide support and project management for search projects in close collaboration with the team.
--Engage in self-driven research and education to understand the unique needs and business models of each client. The researcher will gather accurate and timely information about high technology companies, industries and individuals, including comprehensive company profiles, organizational charts, employee biographies, detailed contact information and reporting relationships within targeted high-technology sectors.
--Draft critical supporting materials, including candidate bios and company profiles for client meetings.
--Identify and assess candidates quickly to determine their appropriateness for open positions.
--Maintain meticulous data integrity and records in the company database.
--Multi-task across several time-sensitive assignments, while working with diverse styles and personalities within a small team environment.
--BA/BS degree required. One to three years' work experience since graduating from college in one of the following industry areas: commercial law, business consulting / professional services, solution sales or venture capital.
--Experience in the high tech markets is preferred but not required.
--Tech savvy; MS Office Suite
--Excellent writing, grammar and proofreading skills
--Comfortable and confident in a visible role with internal partners, clients and candidates
--Flexible in a startup environment
--Team player interested in building the business from the ground up
Salary commensurate with experience.
