Job DescriptionAn opportunity exists for a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate within the Quality department at HistoRx. Reporting to the Manager of Quality Systems and working with other departments within the company, the successful candidate will focus on providing QA /QC support to the laboratory operations and product development within HistoRx.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and daily maintenance of electronic documentation system(s);
Document management activities including issuance of controlled documents;
Writing and revising SOPs;
Sample Receiving
Inventory receiving, control and release;
Quality Control testing;
Release of materials and kits to support internal operations;
Release of prepared kits for sale to external clients;
Performance of software testing and validation;
Support for computer validation processes.
Education/Experience
BS or MS degree in bioscience or a closely related field or AS degree with two years of full-time work experience in a bioscience or medical science laboratory, must have prior experience in a Quality or closely related function;
Very strong computer skills; must be able to learn how to use and implement new software packages;
Must be capable of training others in existing and acquired technologies;
Knowledge of GxP practices, procedures and documentation requirements;
Strong verbal and written communication skills with good organizational skills;
Attention to detail;
The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and to follow protocols faithfully.
