Research Associate Voxiva
Voxiva is expanding its portfolio of research and analysis of mobile health programs and data. We currently are seeking a Research Associate to provide statistical, analytical and other support in Washington, D.C.Responsibilities
Collects, compiles, validates, interprets, and analyzes mobile health data and trends using standard practices and techniques.
Applies quantitative and/or qualitative analysis techniques and methods.
Conducts literature reviews and writes sections of proposals and deliverables.
Responsible for maintaining and checking the accuracy of all data for assigned projects.
Works with external research groups to implement tasks and projects.
Designs and implements online surveys of mobile health users.
Develops screens and discussion guides and moderates and analyzes focus groups.
Prepares and contributes to reports and data summaries.
Travels within the United States to collaborate with research teams, conduct focus groups and/or make presentations.
Qualifications
Master?s degree in statistics, quantitative methods, epidemiology or related discipline
3-5 years? experience in biostatistics and epidemiologic research methods including strong skills on statistical software packages such as STATA, SAS or SPSS.
Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to conduct applied quantitative and/or qualitative research.
Experience assisting in coordinating data collection and research activities.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks and complete tasks on time.
Willingness to travel.
