The Opportunity
Eduventures has exciting opportunities open for entry-level candidates seeking to start their career at a fast-paced research and consulting firm. Frequent research methods we employ include online surveys, telephone interviews with executive-level contacts, focus groups, and Internet and database research. Eduventures seeks strong individual performers who can also contribute effectively to a team executing a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods to meet the specific needs of our college, university, and other clients.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of these roles include, but are not limited to:
Implementing the research process for web survey and interview projects
Conducting qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research to support client needs
Common research tasks include:
Conducting secondary and primary research and analysis on education trends and segments, and companies
Scheduling and assisting with interviews
Supporting the creation of client presentations, publications, and research documents
Data analysis and reporting (using SPSS and Excel)
Participating in problem-solving by evaluating market strategies and developing recommendations for Eduventures? clients
Writing summaries and conducting analyses of research findings and education trends
Attending project planning meetings, client meetings, and/or conference calls
Delivering on-time, high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations
Providing project support as needed to support a team of analysts
Requirements
Articulate, mature, self-starters who want to begin their career in research and consulting
Strong analytical skills and an interest in further developing qualitative and quantitative research skills
Strong written and verbal business communication skills and ability to transform data into action points
Exceptional client service ethic
Interest in higher education
Business-oriented, entrepreneurial mind-set
Superior attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Bachelor?s degree required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with SPSS, STATA, or similar statistics package, preferred
This is a full-time, salaried role with benefits, based in our Boston office.
