Position Summary:
The Research Manager role in the Research and Analytics Team is responsible for carrying out research and produce reports and white papers for clients, press and internal usage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following but other duties may be assigned:
Design, development & implementation of research strategy to achieve research objectives and requirements for Specific Media
Produce case studies, white papers and adhoc reports to take to market
Manage and deliver on adhoc qualitative/ quantitative research projects from briefing through delivery
Formulate research proposals bespoke to client briefs to deliver on their key marketing objectives
Oversee a team of research analysts for the execution of research projects
Involve in planning and managing a research budget
Liaise with external research agencies and data source suppliers; involve in research agency recruitment, contracts and overall relationship development
Literate in all research tools relevant to digital / online media
Sales enablement by supporting ad hoc insights requests in a timely manner during the RFP process
Skills:
Minimum 5 years experience in marketing research or other similar research roles
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Expertise in briefing, pitching, developing and managing research projects
Experience in planning / managing briefs
Strong ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with internal / external clients and vendors
Proven experience in a variety of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
Strong understanding of current Internet, mobile, TV and new technological developments
Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at any given time
Ability to convert research data and results to meaningful consumer insights
Ability to anticipate challenges related to study design and to proactively communicate potential solutions
Experience presenting research findings and recommendations both internally and externally
Ability to employ and manage ad-hoc qualitative research projects at a global level
Experience of quantitative techniques and methodologies
Able to decipher rich insight, solve problems and deliver creative presentations
Drive to succeed and develop career in the digital marketing research space
Ability to work collaboratively with others within and outside of department
Microsoft office proficiency with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
May require minimum travel
