Job Summary
We are seeking Scientist to join a team focused on development of T cell vaccines. The candidate will be required to execute multiple experiments as part of large scale projects with minimal supervision. Successful candidates must display a complete understanding of scientific principles underlying research and have mastery of the technical skills. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot during the planning of experiments, and to direct the investigation of issues. Training and supervision of junior staff is expected. Must be able to excel in a fast-paced matrix environment, be highly collaborative, self-motivated and flexible.

Vaccine experience preferred.

Education/Experience
PhD in immunology or related field with 2 yrs industry experience or 15+ years of relevant experience without PhD.
Essential Functions
Use of problem solving and technical discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of projects.
Manage projects as well as collaborate and interact with other scientists and staff members.
Compile, analyze, and present data in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrate extensive experience conducting cell cultures, including primary cell cultures as well as experience in a range of assays including Elispot, ELISA and flow cytometry.
Hands-on experience with assay development and optimization.
Processing of human samples.
Animal work.
Train and supervise the work of junior staff.
Assist in gathering data and writing reports for various grants.
