Protein ExpressionWe are seeking a highly talented, independent, and accomplished Research Scientist to express and validate cancer specific biomarkers, entailing: construction and screening of phage libraries, design and development of protein expression protocols in a variety of systems, and recombinant protein production. The successful candidate must possess a very strong background in molecular biology, with hands-on experience in phage manipulation, and protein expression and purification.
Qualifications
PhD in relevant field, with 3-5 years academic research experience, industry experience not required
Expertise in phage library construction and screening, with strong background in all molecular biology and recombinant DNA techniques
Expertise in protein expression and purification required, with hands-on experience in a variety of protein expression systems
Fluent in antibody and immunochemistry techniques
Experience with high-throughput process
Proven track record and demonstrated troubleshooting abilities
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging team environment
