Research Technician Vaxin
JOB DUTIES: This position will assist in conducting projects to create and develop vaccines and vaccination methods for commercial purposes. The essential duties of this position include taking direction from supervisors to generate and properly document all scientific data on projects including cultivating cells and routine recombinant DNA techniques, and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. or B.A. in a scientific field and a M.S. in a biomedical related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a biomedical research lab
- Strong communication skills; both orally and written
- Some computer experience
- Knowledge of general scientific techniques and ability to learn from others
- Experience working with mice are preferred
