THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Travel to customers? homes to deliver and install home theater/satellite/multi-room audio products and provide technical advice and assistance to customers. Install fulfillment will range from basic audio/video connectivity to fishing wires through walls for home theater installations. Installers may ride alone for non-custom jobs, or with another installer for more complex scopes of work. All installations must meet the highest quality standards set forth byGMAV Home Theater Premium Installation Services, while assuring a professional and safe working environment. Installers are expected to ask lifestyle questions while in the home to suggest additional products and services to enhance the customer experience. Installer must have strong customer service skills in order to act as a consultant in customers? homes. Basic Qualifications: 1 year Construction or A/V experience, 1 year Customer Service or other related position. Candidate must have appropriate certifications and/or licenses dependent on state law. They must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid driver?s license and a clean driving record. They must be able to team-lift components weighing up to 80lbs by themselves or 160lbs with another person?s help. Preferred Qualifications: 2 year degree in technical field. All or one of the following Certifications preferred CTS, CEDIA, ICIA, or NICET.
Audiovisual Lead Technician
We are looking for a lead technician who can be responsible for leading a job from initial contract to punch-list. The responsibilities for this role include:
?Leading and contributing to the installation of audio, video and control systems.
?Testing and programming control systems, computer controlled digital signal processors, routers and mixers.
?Leading projects through final adjustment and commissioning of installed systems.
?Following equipment lists, floor plans, rack and console elevations using AutoCad and other elevation formats.
?Creating test plans and test systems.
?Ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are followed during installation.
?Experience performing each of the job responsibilities outlined above in an associated industry or equivalent technical education.
?High school diploma or equivalency.
?Electronics or engineering degree from an accredited college or university is a plus.
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized. PC, Mac OS and networking experience.
?Understanding of electronics and the ability to read drawings and schematics. Candidate must have a professional presentation and demeanor.
?Familiarity with programming on: Crestron, AMX, Extron, BSS, DBX, RTI, Polycom, Clear One, Tandberg, Niles Audio/Control.
?Familiar with both commercial and residential products, including product lines from: Crown, JBL, Extron, Rane, Niles, Sonos, Mark Levinson, Lexicon, B&W, Kaleidescape and above listed manufacturers.
?CTS, Cisco CCNA and/or Microsoft MCxx certification a plus.
?Additionally, a background in electronics including CCTV, Access Control and green technologies and/or acoustics would be helpful.
