This Director of Sales is responsible for the management of the Walgreens account and directing a team of a National Account Manager and a Sales Manager in the management of existing business as well as building new distribution of incremental products or services. The Director of Sales will develop and maintain relationships with all levels of management both internally and externally, establish and execute strategic objectives and provide direction for category management, forecasting, financial modeling and overall relationship management.
The scope and responsibilities are:
Achieve/Exceed established sales budgets
Maintain high level of customer satisfaction to ensure customer renewals of existing agreements
Provide strategic direction to grow existing business within account and to drive new product/service opportunities
Monitor account?s revenue performance, identify trends and opportunities.
Manage and Motivate Sales and Account Managers to:
Foster strong, productive interpersonal relationships with all levels of key client personnel and continue to monitor the strength of the overall relationship.
Ensure the client?s overall objectives and requirements are being met.
Document and communicate successes and demonstrate InComm?s unique value added service to clients.
Establish relevant performance metrics and track client?s financial and other performance vs. plan figures, actively collaborate with client personnel to identify key issues (product/platform, financial, regulatory, or other) affecting performance and actively manage outcomes.
Manage a business planning process with clients, including identification of new growth opportunities, and identify key roles and responsibilities emerging from that process.
Identify and leverage new points of competitive differentiation to enhance customer loyalty.
Identify and advance opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling our solutions into existing client accounts.
Develop subject matter expertise on different association and different region rules, regulations, processes and tools.
Support Business Development on client calls
Develop successful client relationships by regularly working with all project stakeholders to ensure the highest level of client service.
Schedule, manage and participate in regular client meetings.
Support Business Development on client calls and pre-sales activities.
Review and monitor contractual support and service level agreements.
Provide assistance to business development or field staff in the form of subject matter expertise on products, platform capabilities, best practices for related products or programs, or writing of concept documents.
Mentor account managers and provide guidance on day-to-day account management activities.
Manage contractual documentation as appropriate.
Project Management and manage the implementation of our products or programs as required.
Make program recommendations and contribute to the evolution of our portfolio of products and services and assist with the implementation of such recommendations.
Support and provide appropriate input to maintain team and departmental performance
Review and monitor contractual support and Service Level Agreements
Handle complex special projects such as assisting with the development of business requirements for new products or services.
Work with internal business partners to ensure that any new enhancements or issues are developed and addressed appropriately.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
Minimum 10 years applicable experience
Bachelor?s degree or commensurate experience in a related field
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation and communication skills
Ability to lead a team in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
Commitment to excellence in customer relationship management with negotiation experience.
PC proficient with strong MS Office skills
