We are looking for an energetic, collaborative, and effective team player to join our Premium Services Team. If you want to help the world invest better and manage a sophisticated retention program, come join one of Washington D.C.?s best companies.
A significant amount of our business is the retention of current members, and in order to understand our members, you need to think like them, empathize with them, and speak their language. This multi-million dollar renewal program covers multiple products and reaches hundreds of thousands of members. You will be joyfully challenged, optimizing current systems and building your own from the ground up.
Plan, execute, and measure retention program strategies and iniatives
Work with the VP of Premium Membership to set the strategy for personalizing and optimizing email renewal campaigns
Develop key messages and retention marketing campaigns including but not limited to email, website, and phone
Use data and segmentation to develop personalized retention programs that are tailored to each unique Motley Fool premium service and that reflect individual members? experiences with the service
Help develop reports and tools needed to effectively monitor and optimize retention initiatives
Drive innovative ways to improve renewal rate, grace period entry/cure rates, and winback performance for all retention programs
Coordinate and work with internal copywriters and designers in order to continually enhance and engage our members
Keep up to date with industry trends, both within the investing space and also within direct response marketing
Maintain and optimize all active retention marketing campaigns
Inform VP of Premium Services of current test plans, results, and provide monthly performance analysis
Update all messaging, performance data, and disclosures for all active campaigns on a monthly basis
Create new html and text templates in Strongmail for all new tests and campaigns
Monitor program performance and bring ideas for testing and optimization opportunities.
For your interview
Bring examples of creative marketing communications you?ve created for a specialized audience with revenue goals/actuals
Demonstrate experience running successful A/B tests and communicating results.
Explain how you currently use segmentation and data to improve direct response initiatives
Demonstrate excellent communication skills for a variety of outcomes: sharing information with upper management, facilitating teamwork, setting priorities and direction for direct reports, and collaborating with groups outside your own
Be prepared to talk about your skills as a multi-tasker and how you have managed multiple projects in a cross-functional environment

Basic interest or knowledge of investing/personal finance
