We are looking for an ambitious, collaborative, unique, effective leader to join our Premium Services Team. This person should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, and intellectually curious.
This person will help us keep as many Fools as possible in order to provide financial freedom and superior stock advice to as many people as possible.
Plan, execute, and measure retention program strategies and initiatives
Assist Director of Renewal Marketing with the strategic vision for personalizing and optimizing distinct renewal campaign across multiple channels and platforms.
Develop key messages and retention marketing campaigns including but not limited to email, website, and direct mail.
Utilize data segmentation in order to develop personalized retention programs that are tailored to each unique Motley Fool premium service.
Coordinate and work with internal copywriters and designers in order to continually enhance and engage our members.
Keep up to date with industry trends, both within the investing space and also within direct response marketing.
Help develop reports and tools needed to effectively monitor and optimize retention initiatives.
Drive innovative ways to improve renewal rate, grace period entry rates, and winback performance for all retention programs.
Maintain and optimize all active retention marketing campaigns
Inform VP of Premium Services and Director of Renewal Marketing of current test plans, results, and provide monthly performance analysis.
Update all messaging, performance data, and disclosures for all active campaigns on a monthly basis.
Create new html and text templates in Strongmail for all new tests and campaigns.
Monitor program performance and bring ideas for testing and optimization opportunities.
Bring examples of creative marketing communications you?ve created for a specialized audience with revenue goals/actuals.
Demonstrate experience running successful A/B tests and communicating results.
Explain how you currently use segmentation and data to improve direct response initiatives.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills for a variety of outcomes: sharing information with upper management, facilitating teamwork, setting priorities and direction for direct reports, and collaborating with groups outside your own.
Prove you are able to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
B.S./B.A. degree in marketing or experience in the field
3+ years of related work experience
Must have a basic interest or knowledge of investing/personal finance
Must know basic html
Must have high attention to detail
MBA is a plus
Experience writing marketing copy a plus
