Returns & Reconciliation Manager
The Returns & Reconciliation Manager works within the Customer Support Department, and reports to the Customer Support Manager. The individual will drive processes and systems required for effective processing, including reconciling issues on all Loaners & Returns that have discrepancies. The individual has responsibility to conduct data analysis and provide follow-up of all loaner requests. The individual is required to interact closely with multiple internal departments and external customers. The individual must possess a team-player attitude with the ability to multitask and function well in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The individual must consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong work ethic with a determination to resolve issues.
Follow up with sales reps on loaner and excess returns issues via phone/email
Analyze data and assess appropriate fees and credits.
Analyze and resolve issues regarding loaners & returns.
Reconcile all open loaners and consignment returns on the same day.
Ensure all discrepancies are promptly communicated to the Sales Representative, Area Director and Accounting.
Use Excel to establish and maintain data as required.
Issue Return Authorization?s (RA?s)
Approve loaner requests based on certain preset conditions.
Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
This individual will also be required to provide backup coverage for Customer Support as necessary.
Five (5) years bookkeeping, product returns/credits analysis or related business experience.
Bachelors or Associates degree.
Minimum of 2 years experience managing employees.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Multi-tasking abilities required for successful job completion.
Results oriented with a keen ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Proven ability to analyze information, manage and resolve discrepancies.
Proficient in preparation of reports with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Well organized, detail oriented and a team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment.
Practiced in professionalism and discretion within all business communications and interaction.
