We are continuously looking for talented people interested in working in a fast-paced, cutting edge environment. Our Finance Team is currently seeking a Revenue Analyst to join our growing team. This position is responsible for all billing and revenue-related activities for a particular set of customers. This individual also performs balance sheet reconciliations for multiple accounts. This is a great opportunity for a staff accountant who is looking to gain further participation in the operations of the business. Other responsibilities include:
Calculates customer fees through utilization of the FG application
Compiles contract summaries for new customers
Reviews revenue related contracts for compliance with billing procedures and revenue recognition guidelines and determine appropriate GAAP treatment
Acts as a liaison between Fieldglass and the finance teams for our customers
Works with Sales, Professional Services, and Legal during contract negotiations to gather requirements around revenue and billing
Participates in monthly close process, including revenue journal entries and calculation of customer fees
Reconciling balance sheet accounts every month
Assists with special projects as needed including billing automation
Engages with other departments to provide accurate and timely customer information when requested
We?re Looking For:
Bachelor?s degree in Finance or Accounting
1-3 years of experience in a Finance/Accounting role
CPA is a plus
Strong MS Excel skills; experience using pivot tables and formulas
Working knowledge of MS Office; experience with NetSuite is a plus
Extreme attention to detail
Proactive and self-driven with the ability to think creatively within a flexible environment
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced culture
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills: displaying responsibility and integrity at all times and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service with the ability to interact with executives and across functions
