PatientKeeper, a leading provider of healthcare applications for physicians, is searching for a Revenue Cycle Implementation Consultant to join our Professional Services organization. PatientKeeper delivers a suite of integrated applications that support a physician's workflow through the entire day ? from home to hospital to office or anywhere in between. We make this possible by uniting information from systems across the hospital and community to give physicians and other caregivers a unified environment to manage their patients? care.
Our Implementation Consultants lead the delivery of solutions that allow our clients to enhance their operational efficiency, quality of care and level of clinical practice. They assume a variety of roles, including application configuration, workflow and information analysis, and training in the course of implementing and deploying PatientKeeper?s technology.
As an Implementation Consultant your goal will be to ensure smooth transitions from clients? existing processes to PatientKeeper?s software. This process requires developing a strong relationship with a customer and understanding their specific needs. A successful PatientKeeper implementation requires engaging a customer in analyzing workflows, and collaborating to optimally design and configure the system. From preparing the deployment to training the users, you will ensure long-term success.
Perform business workflow analysis, documentation & optimization
Conduct systems planning; system and application configuration and system validation
Train clients on software applications ensuring full knowledge transfer
Manage client expectations around application functions
Assist clients in defining workflows and system design
Investigate, track and resolve client?s application issues
Assist in internal employee knowledge transfer
Develop internal company tools necessary for smooth application installations
Excellent business process analysis skills are required
Experience implementing business oriented software solutions
Experience with Healthcare IT systems; Healthcare billing experience a must
Experience with HL7 interfaces associated with business oriented software
Project methodology and/or software lifecycle experience ideal
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong motivation & team orientation
A desire to learn new skills & technologies
Microsoft Office applications knowledge
Ability to meet travel requirements of 50%
Ability to work on multiple ongoing projects
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Highly organized with attention to detail, execution and follow-through
Knowledge of health care industry required
Bachelors Degree Required
Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience
