Revenue Manager Contractor LiveOps

Responsibilities:
In this contractor role, you'll report directly to the Sr. Revenue Manager. This is very much a hands on, revenue accounting role.
Preparation of weekly revenue reports for Vitals
Preparation of monthly revenue reports for accounting close
o GAAP based reports
o Economic reports (not necessarily GAAP) used for commission calculations
Month end accounting close work:
o Posting of revenue, receivable and allowance account entries
o Account reconciliations and analysis for above mentioned accounts
Verify that revenue recognition is in compliance with GAAP and SarBox
Revenue assurance test work
Work with FP&A group to determine customer profitability
Networking with other departments within company and attending necessary meetings so as to stay in the loop on key revenue issues.
Implement, document and maintain new process and system for LiveRevenue reporting
Assist with year end and quarterly audits:
o Preparation of various revenue and receivable schedules
Establish polices & procedures for all customer billing
Preparation of customer invoices
Customer contract file management
Preparation and validation of reports for upsell commissions due to customers (client payout reports)
Management and training of staff
Preparation of various sales tax schedules
Special projects
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 - 5 years Revenue Recognition experience in a high tech company
BS in Finance or Accounting
Ability to work independently
Strong MS Excel and Quickbook skills
Ability and desire to be effective in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment
Experience working in a SOX 404 environment a plus
CPA a plus
Telecommunications and/or call center industry experience a plus
