Summary:
We are looking for a Revenue Manager that has a great positive attitude, highly motivated to learn and grow within the organization. This person will be a valuable member of the Finance and Accounting team, to assist in all accounting aspects of the revenue and accounts receivable process, including preparation and review of the general ledger entries, reconciliations and analysis. This person will report to the Assistant Controller and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Primary responsibilities include maintaining global revenue and accounts receivable policies and practices, recording revenue and addressing revenue recognition matters.
Work with the technical accounting function to ensure accurate understanding and accounting of complex revenue deals.
Establish and maintain revenue policies and practices working with other departments and international personnel.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of monthly revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable.
Review all revenue-related account reconciliations on a periodic basis ? including Trade AR, Deferred COGS, Deferred Revenue, etc. Ensure that reconciliations have been prepared properly to ensure that the underlying transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP.
Achieve timely and accurate customer invoicing and oversee process for timely and accurate invoicing to customers.
Manage AR, Credit and Collection, and Revenue accounting team and oversee day-to-day AR operations.
Partner with the sales and customer service operational teams to facilitate co-operative advertising and marketing development fund programs and related accounting and revenue impacts.
Support preparation of revenue data included in monthly reporting package generated by FP&A.
Support preparation of revenue data included in 10K and 10Q .
Directly support the revenue and accounts receivable portion of annual consolidated audit process working with external auditors.
Propose and implement process improvements for streamlining procedures as a part of internal control initiatives.
Manage finance cross functional relationships within the company supervision of the monthly close and consolidation process, as well as revenue and SEC reporting function.
Engage, motivate and inspire both team and cross-functional relationships.
Special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred, strong knowledge of GAAP a must
5+ years of experience, Big Four experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
Effective problem solving, methodical, detail-oriented, innovative, and highly analytical.
A multi-tasker with the ability to accurately work in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment
Able to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, work as part of a team as well as independently.
Highly motivated and dedicated individual.
Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
Experience with major ERP system required (Oracle, SAP, etc)
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional teams environment
Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
