Position Description :
As an Optimization Specialist you will engage with some of the largest brands in the world to improve the personalization of their website, email, mobile solution and/or call center. Your role is to develop, advise and deliver best practice solutions to support ecommerce and personalization optimization.
A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of web site performance drivers, as well as the ability to recognize meaningful metrics within a large set of data points. You will use these metrics and your knowledge of best practices to form and deliver specific, actionable analysis for improvement.
--Engage clients to understand their ecommerce and personalization goals
--Provide guidance and insight on ecommerce and optimization best practices
--Develop strategies that support the client's objectives
--Analyze channel performance and provide meaningful and actionable strategies to improve performance
--Create, track and manage A/B performance tests
--Manage optimization projects including but not limited to: website, e-mail, mobile, and contact center personalized recommendations, as well as configuration for test, final analysis and presentation of results
--Establish and balance priorities and activities between many simultaneously progressing projects
--Relate on-going status and outcome of service deliverables to account managers for on-going customer support
--Strong understanding of web site performance drivers, and the ability to use data to drive fundamental web marketing decisions and strategies
--Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
--Exhibits high degree of pro-activeness in analyzing customer behavior using available data to influence change and improve performance
--Learns from mistakes, takes action to apply the learnings and provides peer and team wide feedback
--Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed.
--Expert-level experience with Excel and other data presentation tools
--Strong analytic skills and ability to learn new concepts and software applications quickly and efficiently
--A strong background or education in advanced statistics is a plus
--Positive attitude required
--Experience managing complex customer relationships preferred
--Experience with T-SQL or SQL a plus
--Experience with A/B or multivariate website testing tools (Test and Target, Sitespect Optimost, etc.) a plus
