Duties & Responsibilities
The Application Engineers at LitePoint are experts in wireless systems and system architecture. We develop new ways of utilizing our test solutions, to support novel test methodologies, helping customers to improve product quality, shorten development cycles, and optimize their production testing. We are on the forefront of wireless technology trends, and drive product development and requirements, and push the technology in customer-like scenarios.
As an RF Application Engineer, you work with our Advanced Technology Group and Engineering Team to implement new test methodologies and concepts, like parallel testing, concurrent testing, and sequence based testing. Devise new test strategies based on tangible business needs and real-world R&D and manufacturing scenarios.
Design and implement new test methodologies and concepts
Develop demos as proof of concept and for sell-in purposes.
Demo products and solutions, write application notes, and hold training for both internal teams and customers.
Support the field organization in troubleshooting complex customer problems.
Partner with sales teams on customer and prospect presentations and be part of the overall sales effort.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
M.Sc. in wireless communication or signal processing. Or B.S in EE or CS with at least 3 years working experience related to WiFi/RF.
Solid knowledge in the physical layers of WiFi and BT (nice to have)
Experience in network analyzers, RF test equipment, signal generators and analyzers, oscilloscope, etc. (nice to have)
SW debugging skills C/C++ (Mandatory)
Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving skills
Good communication skills, both verbally and written, is a must. Ability to present at public events.
